Through multiple programs for the automotive and motorcycle industry, we have developed a class-leading HMI design and development pipeline spanning six key steps.
We begin with a detailed discovery phase, where we research the market and gain insight into the goals of the customer and the needs of the driver, which manifests itself into a detailed user experience utilizing wireframes outlining the functionality of the HMI.
With a provisional wireframe in place we move to visual design phase, working with the customer’s team to create a range of high level concepts that will set the style for the HMI design.
As the visual design moves forward we begin animating aspects such as the tachometer, mode changes and start-up sequences.
Using industry-standard procedures we proceed to build the HMI in 3D space, creating all the assets ready for inclusion in the HMI via specific 3D tools.
With the 3D scenes and modes created the assets are then imported into leading HMI creation tools such as Kanzi, ready for texturing, animation and interactivity.
As the HMI build nears completion we begin working with your team to integrate the interface into working platform releases.
